Now until the end of the weekend in going to be a massive factory production of assignments. Got a 2,500 word one for tox, 4,000 word one for 720 and 1,500 word one for forensic. Tox is all researched, others are not. But 720, I think I could research and write at the same time (as it’s not research heavy, just pick a technique and say why, design experiments and shit). Forensic is based off a lecture, know what I need to say, just need to find references to back me up, plus 1,500 words isn’t much.
Had my 720 test today. 40%. MCQ was okay, knew most of them pretty certain, and a handful of ones that I guessed. First essay was fine since it was about antibodies and just comparing techniques. Second one was shit as it was design an experiment and I don’t really understand the protocol. Only taught the theory and potential applications in class, not how you use it and knowing how to use it would probably be more useful since the class is titled, ‘biomedical research techniques.’
Honestly, this class would have a lot more potential if it was broke into smaller streams that went into the lab and preformed the experiments. That way we know what happens step by step and be more memorable than a 2-hour PowerPoint lecture. Oh well, glad that test is one less thing I have to worry about.
Other than that pretty dull day, but did manage to get to the gym with Dilip and run 4km.
Ben texted me today while he was at a bar for a legalize love thing. Apparently a 45+ cougar was making out with one of his gay guy friends. Then, she tried for Ben. His life sounds way more interesting than mine.
